Our Statement

As Republicans, we strive for a land that allows every legal American citizen to reach their greatest potential. Dedication, hard work and the education to achieve these goals are the responsibilities of the families, communities and especially the individuals themselves. We endeavor to make this achievable by supporting and promoting the Minnesota GOP Standing Platform. The Goodhue County Republican Leadership Committee encourages everyone to take part in the process that will make “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” possible.

Our Values

We believe we are “endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights.” We support defending the right to life, protecting religious and political liberties, and expect that government treats all of its citizens equally under the law. We support respecting personal privacy and property, protecting the right to bear arms, and giving workers the right to decide whether to join a union.

Promote Economic Prosperity

We support lowering the tax burden, exercising spending restraint, and creating and maintaining a fair, honest, and competitive business environment to promote economic prosperity and once again make Minnesota the economic engine of the Upper Midwest.
